4 ) سورة النساء

(660)

اِنَّاۤ اَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡکَ کَمَاۤ اَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ اِلٰی نُوۡحٍ وَّ النَّبِیّٖنَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہٖ ۚ وَ اَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ اِلٰۤی اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ وَ اِسۡمٰعِیۡلَ وَ اِسۡحٰقَ وَ یَعۡقُوۡبَ وَ الۡاَسۡبَاطِ وَ عِیۡسٰی وَ اَیُّوۡبَ وَ یُوۡنُسَ وَ ہٰرُوۡنَ وَ سُلَیۡمٰنَ ۚ وَ اٰتَیۡنَا دَاوٗدَ زَبُوۡرًا ﴿۱۶۳﴾ۚ

Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

یقیناً ہم نے آپ کی طرف اسی طرح وحی کی ہے جیسے کہ نوح ( علیہ السلام ) اور ان کے بعد والے نبیوں کی طرف کی ، اور ہم نے وحی کی ابرا ہیم اور اسماعیل اور اسحاق اور یعقوب اور اُن کی اولاد پر اور عیسیٰ اور ایوب اور یونس اور ہارون اور سلیمان کی طرف اور ہم نےداؤد ( علیہ السلام ) کو زبور عطا فرمائی ۔

Yaqeenan hum ney aap ki taraf issi tarah wahee ki hai jaisay kay nooh ( alh-e-salam ) aur inn kay baad walay nabiyon ki taraf ki aur hum ney wahee ki ibrahim aur isamail aur ishaq aur yaqoob aur unn ki aulad per aur essa aur ayub aur younus aur haroon aur suleman ki taraf. Aur hum ney dawood ( alh-e-salam ) ko zaboor ata farmaee.

6 ) سورة الأنعام

(881)

وَ اِسۡمٰعِیۡلَ وَ الۡیَسَعَ وَ یُوۡنُسَ وَ لُوۡطًا ؕ وَ کُلًّا فَضَّلۡنَا عَلَی الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۸۶﴾

And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot - and all [of them] We preferred over the worlds.

اور نیز اسماعیل کو اور یسع کو اور یونس کو اور لوط کو اور ہر ایک کو تمام جہان والوں پر ہم نے فضیلت دی ۔

Aur naiz ismail ko yasaa ko aur younus ko aur loot ko aur her aik ko tamam jahaan walon per hum ney fazeelat di.

10) Surat Younus

( 11 ) پارہ نمبر

10 ) سورة يونس

(1471)

فَلَوۡ لَا کَانَتۡ قَرۡیَۃٌ اٰمَنَتۡ فَنَفَعَہَاۤ اِیۡمَانُہَاۤ اِلَّا قَوۡمَ یُوۡنُسَ ؕ لَمَّاۤ اٰمَنُوۡا کَشَفۡنَا عَنۡہُمۡ عَذَابَ الۡخِزۡیِ فِی الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا وَ مَتَّعۡنٰہُمۡ اِلٰی حِیۡنٍ ﴿۹۸﴾

Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time.

چنا نچہ کوئی بستی ایمان نہ لائی کہ ایمان لانا اس کو نافع ہوتا سوائے یونس ( علیہ السلام ) کی قوم کے جب وہ ایمان لے آئے تو ہم نے رسوائی کے عذاب کو دنیاوی زندگی میں ان پر سے ٹال دیا اور ان کو ایک وقت ( خاص ) تک کے لئے زندگی سے فائدہ اٹھانے ( کا موقع ) دیا ۔

Chunacha koi basti eman na laee kay eman lana uss ko nafey hota siwaye younus ( alh-e-salam ) ki qom kay. Jab woh eman ley aaye to hum ney ruswaee kay azab ko dunyawi zindagi mein unn per say taal diya aur unn ko aik waqt ( khas ) tak kay liye zindagi say faeeda uthaney ( ka moqa ) diya.

21) Surat-ul-Anbiya

( 17 ) پارہ نمبر

21 ) سورة الأنبياء

(2590)

وَ ذَاالنُّوۡنِ اِذۡ ذَّہَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ اَنۡ لَّنۡ نَّقۡدِرَ عَلَیۡہِ فَنَادٰی فِی الظُّلُمٰتِ اَنۡ لَّاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡتَ سُبۡحٰنَکَ ٭ۖ اِنِّیۡ کُنۡتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۸۷﴾ۚ ۖ

And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."

مچھلی والے ( حضرت یونس علیہ السلام ) کو یاد کرو! جبکہ وہ غصہ سے چل دیا اور خیال کیا کہ ہم اسے نہ پکڑ سکیں گے ۔ بلآخر وہ اندھیروں کے اندر سے پکار اٹھا کہ الٰہی تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں تو پاک ہے بیشک میں ظالموں میں ہوگیا ۔

Machli walay ( hazrat younus alh-e-salam ) ko yaad kero! Jabkay woh gussay say chal diya aur khayal kiya kay hum ussay na pakar saken gay. Bil-aakhir woh andheron kay andar say pukar utha kay elahee teray siwa koi mabood nahi tu pak hai be-shak mein zalimon mein say tha.

37) Surat-us-Saaffaat

( 23 ) پارہ نمبر

37 ) سورة الصافات

(3963)

وَ اِنَّ یُوۡنُسَ لَمِنَ الۡمُرۡسَلِیۡنَ ﴿۱۳۹﴾ؕ

And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers.

اور بلاشبہ یونس ( علیہ السلام ) نبیوں میں سے تھے ۔

Aur bila-shuba younus ( alh-e-salam ) nabiyon mein say thay.

68) Surat-ul-Qalam

( 29 ) پارہ نمبر

68 ) سورة القلم

(5386)

فَاصۡبِرۡ لِحُکۡمِ رَبِّکَ وَ لَا تَکُنۡ کَصَاحِبِ الۡحُوۡتِ ۘ اِذۡ نَادٰی وَ ہُوَ مَکۡظُوۡمٌ ﴿ؕ۴۸﴾

Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed.

بس تو اپنے رب کے حکم کا صبر سے ( انتظار کر ) اور مچھلی والے کی طرح نہ ہو جا جب کہ اس نے غم کی حالت میں دعا کی ۔

Pus tu apnay rab kay hokum ka sabar say ( intezar ker ) aur machli walay ki tarah na ho jo jab kay uss nay ghum ki holat main dua ki.
