2) Surat-ul-Baqara

( 2 ) پارہ نمبر

2 ) سورة البقرة

(198)

یَسۡئَلُوۡنَکَ عَنِ الۡاَہِلَّۃِ ؕ قُلۡ ہِیَ مَوَاقِیۡتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَ الۡحَجِّ ؕ وَ لَیۡسَ الۡبِرُّ بِاَنۡ تَاۡتُوا الۡبُیُوۡتَ مِنۡ ظُہُوۡرِہَا وَ لٰکِنَّ الۡبِرَّ مَنِ اتَّقٰیۚ وَ اۡتُوا الۡبُیُوۡتَ مِنۡ اَبۡوَابِہَا ۪ وَ اتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸۹﴾

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the new moons. Say, "They are measurements of time for the people and for Hajj." And it is not righteousness to enter houses from the back, but righteousness is [in] one who fears Allah. And enter houses from their doors. And fear Allah that you may succeed.

لوگ آپ سے چاند کے بارے میں سوال کرتے ہیں آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ یہ لوگوں ( کی عبادت ) کے وقتوں اور حج کے موسم کے لئے ہے ( احرام کی حالت میں ) اور گھروں کےپیچھے سے تمہارا آنا کچھ نیکی نہیں ، بلکہ نیکی والا وہ ہے جو متقی ہو اور گھروں میں تو دروازوں میں سے آیا کرو اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو تاکہ تم کامیاب ہو جاؤ ۔

Log aap say chaand kay baray mein sawal kertay hain aap keh dijiye kay yeh logon ( ki ibadat ) kay waqton aur hajj kay mausam kay liye hai ( ehraam ki halat main ) aur gharon kay peechay say tumhara aana kuch neki nahi bulkay neki wala woh hai jo muttaqi ho. Aur gharon mein to darwazon say aaya kero aur Allah say dartay raho takay tum kaamyaab hojao.

6 ) سورة الأنعام

(872)

فَلَمَّا رَاَ الۡقَمَرَ بَازِغًا قَالَ ہٰذَا رَبِّیۡ ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِنۡ لَّمۡ یَہۡدِنِیۡ رَبِّیۡ لَاَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡقَوۡمِ الضَّآلِّیۡنَ ﴿۷۷﴾

And when he saw the moon rising, he said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "Unless my Lord guides me, I will surely be among the people gone astray."

پھر جب چاند کو دیکھا چمکتا ہوا تو فرمایا کہ یہ میرا رب ہے لیکن جب وہ غروب ہوگیا تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ اگر مجھ کو میرے رب نے ہدایت نہ کی تو میں گمراہ لوگوں میں شامل ہو جاؤں گا ۔

Phir jab chand ko dekha chamakta hua to farmaya kay yeh mera rab hai lekin jab woh ghuroob hogaya to aap ney farmaya kay agar mujh ko meray rab ney hidayat na ki to mein gumrah logon mein shamil ho jaon ga.

7) Surat-ul-Aeyraaf

( 8 ) پارہ نمبر

7 ) سورة الأعراف

(1015)

اِنَّ رَبَّکُمُ اللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ فِیۡ سِتَّۃِ اَیَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰی عَلَی الۡعَرۡشِ ۟ یُغۡشِی الَّیۡلَ النَّہَارَ یَطۡلُبُہٗ حَثِیۡثًا ۙ وَّ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ وَ النُّجُوۡمَ مُسَخَّرٰتٍۭ بِاَمۡرِہٖ ؕ اَلَا لَہُ الۡخَلۡقُ وَ الۡاَمۡرُ ؕ تَبٰرَکَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۵۴﴾

Indeed, your Lord is Allah , who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah , Lord of the worlds.

بیشک تمہارا رب اللہ ہی ہے جس نے سب آسمانوں اور زمین کو چھ روز میں پیدا کیا ہے پھر عرش پر قائم ہوا وہ شب سے دن کو ایسے طور پر چھپا دیتا ہے کہ کہ وہ شب اس دن کو جلدی سے آ لیتی ہے اور سورج اور چاند اور دوسرے ستاروں کو پیدا کیا ایسے طور پر کہ سب اس کے حکم کے تابع ہیں ۔ یاد رکھو اللہ ہی کے لئے خاص ہے خالق ہونا اور حاکم ہونا بڑی خوبیوں سے بھرا ہوا ہے اللہ جو تمام عالم کا پروردگار ہے ۔

Be-shak tumhara rab Allah hi hai jiss ney sab aasmanon aur zamin ko cheh roz mein peda kiya hai phir arsh per qaeem hua. Woh shab say din ko aisay tor per chupa deta hai kay woh shab uss din ko jaldi aa leti hai aur sooraj aur chand aur doosray sitaron ko peda kiya aisay tor per kay sab uss kay hukum kay tabey hain. Yaad rakho Allah hi kay liye khas hai khaliq hona aur haakim hona bari khoobiyon say bhara hua hai Allah jo tamam aalam ka perwerdigar hai.

10) Surat Younus

10 ) سورة يونس

(1378)

ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَ الشَّمۡسَ ضِیَآءً وَّ الۡقَمَرَ نُوۡرًا وَّ قَدَّرَہٗ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعۡلَمُوۡا عَدَدَ السِّنِیۡنَ وَ الۡحِسَابَ ؕ مَا خَلَقَ اللّٰہُ ذٰلِکَ اِلَّا بِالۡحَقِّ ۚ یُفَصِّلُ الۡاٰیٰتِ لِقَوۡمٍ یَّعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۵﴾

It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases - that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allah has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know

وہ اللہ تعالٰی ایسا ہے جس نے آفتاب کو چمکتا ہوا بنایا اور چاند کو نورانی بنایا اور اس کے لئے منزلیں مقرر کیں تاکہ تم برسوں کی گنتی اور حساب معلوم کر لیا کرو ۔ اللہ تعالٰی نے یہ چیزیں بے فائدہ نہیں پیدا کیں ۔ وہ یہ دلائل ان کو صاف صاف بتلا رہا ہے جو دانش رکھتے ہیں ۔

Woh Allah Taalaa aisa hai jiss ney aftab ko chamakta hua banaya aur chand ko noorani banaya aur uss kay liye manzilen muqarrar kin takay tum barson ki ginti aur hisab maloom ker liya kero. Allah Taalaa ney yeh cheezen bey faeeda nahi peda kin. Woh yeh dalaeel unn ko saaf saaf batla raha hai jo danish rakhtay hain.

12) Surat Yousuf

( 12 ) پارہ نمبر

12 ) سورة يوسف

(1611)

اِذۡ قَالَ یُوۡسُفُ لِاَبِیۡہِ یٰۤاَبَتِ اِنِّیۡ رَاَیۡتُ اَحَدَعَشَرَ کَوۡکَبًا وَّ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ رَاَیۡتُہُمۡ لِیۡ سٰجِدِیۡنَ ﴿۴﴾

[Of these stories mention] when Joseph said to his father, "O my father, indeed I have seen [in a dream] eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating to me."

جب کہ یوسف نے اپنے باپ سے ذکر کیا کہ ابا جان میں نے گیارہ ستاروں کو اور سورج چاند کو دیکھا کہ وہ سب مجھے سجدہ کر رہے ہیں ۔

Jab kay yousuf ney apney baap say ziker kiya kay abba jaan mein ney giyara sitaron ko aur sooraj chand ko dekha kay woh sab mujhay sajda ker rahey hain.

13) Surat-ur-Raad

( 13 ) پارہ نمبر

13 ) سورة الرعد

(1721)

اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ رَفَعَ السَّمٰوٰتِ بِغَیۡرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوۡنَہَا ثُمَّ اسۡتَوٰی عَلَی الۡعَرۡشِ وَ سَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ ؕ کُلٌّ یَّجۡرِیۡ لِاَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ؕ یُدَبِّرُ الۡاَمۡرَ یُفَصِّلُ الۡاٰیٰتِ لَعَلَّکُمۡ بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّکُمۡ تُوۡقِنُوۡنَ ﴿۲﴾

It is Allah who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain.

اللہ وہ ہے جس نے آسمانوں کو بغیر ستونوں کے بلند کررکھا ہے کہ تم اسے دیکھ رہے ہو ۔ پھر وہ عرش پر قرار پکڑے ہوئے ہے اسی نے سورج اور چاند کو ما تحتی میں لگا رکھا ہے ۔ ہر ایک میعاد معین پر گشت کر رہا ہے وہی کام کی تدبیر کرتا ہے وہ اپنے نشانات کھول کھول کر بیان کر رہا ہے کہ تم اپنے رب کی ملاقات کا یقین کر لو ۔

Allah woh hai jiss ney aasmanon ko baghair sutonon kay buland ker rakha hai kay tum ussay dekh rahey ho. Phir woh arsh per qarar pakray huye hai ussi ney sooraj aur chand ko ma-tehati mein laga rakha hai. Her aik miyad-e-moyyen per gasht ker raha hai wohi kaam ki tadbeer kerta hai woh apney nishanaat khol khol ker biyan ker raha hai kay tum apney rab ki mulaqat ka yaqeen kerlo.

14) Surat Ibrahim

( 13 ) پارہ نمبر

14 ) سورة إبراهيم

(1796)

وَ سَخَّرَ لَکُمُ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ دَآئِبَیۡنِ ۚ وَ سَخَّرَ لَکُمُ الَّیۡلَ وَ النَّہَارَ ﴿ۚ۳۳﴾

And He subjected for you the sun and the moon, continuous [in orbit], and subjected for you the night and the day.

اسی نے تمہارے لئے سورج چاند کو مسخر کر دیا ہے کہ برابر ہی چل رہے ہیں اور رات دن کو بھی تمہارے کام میں لگا رکھا ہے ۔

Ussi ney tumharay liye sooraj chand ko musakhar kerdiya hai kay barabar hi chal rahey hain aur raat din ko bhi tumharay kaam mein laga rakha hai.

16) Surat-un-Nahal

( 14 ) پارہ نمبر

16 ) سورة النحل

(1928)

وَ سَخَّرَ لَکُمُ الَّیۡلَ وَ النَّہَارَ ۙ وَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ ؕ وَ النُّجُوۡمُ مُسَخَّرٰتٌۢ بِاَمۡرِہٖ ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۲﴾

And He has subjected for you the night and day and the sun and moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.

اسی نے رات دن اور سورج چاند کو تمہارے لئے تابع کر دیا ہے اور ستارے بھی اسی کے حکم کے ماتحت ہیں ۔ یقیناً اس میں عقلمند لوگوں کے لئے کئی ایک نشانیاں موجود ہیں ۔

Ussi ney raat din aur sooraj chand ko tumharay liye tabey ker diya hai aur sitaray bhi ussi kay hukum kay matehat hain. Yaqeenan iss mein aqal mand logon kay liye kaee aik nishaniyan mojood hain.

21) Surat-ul-Anbiya

( 17 ) پارہ نمبر

21 ) سورة الأنبياء

(2536)

وَ ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَ الَّیۡلَ وَ النَّہَارَ وَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ ؕ کُلٌّ فِیۡ فَلَکٍ یَّسۡبَحُوۡنَ ﴿۳۳﴾

And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming.

وہی اللہ ہے جس نے رات اور دن اور سورج اور چاند کو پیدا کیا ہے ۔ ان میں سے ہر ایک اپنے اپنے مدار میں تیرتے پھرتے ہیں ۔

Wohi Allah hai jiss ney raat aur din aur sooraj aur chand ko peda kiya hai. Inn mein say her aik apney apney madaar mein tertay phirtay hain.

22) Surat-ul-Hajj

( 17 ) پارہ نمبر

22 ) سورة الحج

(2634)

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ یَسۡجُدُ لَہٗ مَنۡ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَنۡ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَ الشَّمۡسُ وَ الۡقَمَرُ وَ النُّجُوۡمُ وَ الۡجِبَالُ وَ الشَّجَرُ وَ الدَّوَآبُّ وَ کَثِیۡرٌ مِّنَ النَّاسِ ؕ وَ کَثِیۡرٌ حَقَّ عَلَیۡہِ الۡعَذَابُ ؕ وَ مَنۡ یُّہِنِ اللّٰہُ فَمَا لَہٗ مِنۡ مُّکۡرِمٍ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَفۡعَلُ مَا یَشَآءُ ﴿ؕٛ۱۸﴾

Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allah humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills.

کیا تو نہیں دیکھ رہا کہ اللہ کے سامنے سجدے میں ہیں سب آسمانوں والے اور سب زمینوں والے اور سورج اور چاند اور ستارے اور پہاڑ اور درخت اور جانور اور بہت سے انسان بھی ہاں بہت سے وہ بھی ہیں جن پر عذاب کا مقولہ ثابت ہو چکا ہے جسے رب ذلیل کر دے اسے کوئی عزت دینے والا نہیں ، اللہ جو چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے ۔

Kiya tu nahi dekh raha kay Allah kay samney sajday mein hain sab aasmano walay aur sab zamino walay aur sooraj aur chand aur sitaray aur pahar aur darakht aur janwar aur boht say insan bhi. Haan boht say woh bhi hain jin per azab ka maqoola sabit ho chuka hai jisay rab zaleel ker dey ussay koi izzat deney wala nahi Allah jo chahata hai kerta hai.

25) Surat-ul-Furqan

( 19 ) پارہ نمبر

25 ) سورة الفرقان

(2940)

تَبٰرَکَ الَّذِیۡ جَعَلَ فِی السَّمَآءِ بُرُوۡجًا وَّ جَعَلَ فِیۡہَا سِرٰجًا وَّ قَمَرًا مُّنِیۡرًا ﴿۶۱﴾

Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon.

بابرکت ہے وہ جس نے آسمان میں برج بنائے اور اس میں آفتاب بنایا اور منور مہتاب بھی ۔

Ba-barkat hai woh jiss ney aasman mein burj banaye aur iss mein aftab banaya aur munawar mahtab bhi.

29) Surat-ul-Ankaboot

( 21 ) پارہ نمبر

29 ) سورة العنكبوت

(3429)

وَ لَئِنۡ سَاَلۡتَہُمۡ مَّنۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ وَ سَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ لَیَقُوۡلُنَّ اللّٰہُ ۚ فَاَنّٰی یُؤۡفَکُوۡنَ ﴿۶۱﴾

If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" they would surely say, " Allah ." Then how are they deluded?

اور اگر آپ ان سے دریافت کریں کہ زمین و آسمان کا خالق اور سورج چاند کو کام میں لگانے والا کون ہے؟ تو ان کا جواب یہی ہوگا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ پھر کدھر الٹے جا رہے ہیں ۔

Aur agar aap inn say daryaft keren kay zamin-o-aasman ka khaliq aur sooraj chand ko kaam mein laganey wala kaun hai? To inn ka jawab yehi hoga kay Allah Taalaa phir kidhar ultay jarahey hain.

31) Surat Luqman

( 21 ) پارہ نمبر

31 ) سورة لقمان

(3528)

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ یُوۡلِجُ الَّیۡلَ فِی النَّہَارِ وَ یُوۡلِجُ النَّہَارَ فِی الَّیۡلِ وَ سَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ ۫ کُلٌّ یَّجۡرِیۡۤ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی وَّ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ خَبِیۡرٌ ﴿۲۹﴾

Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah , with whatever you do, is Acquainted?

کیا آپ نہیں دیکھتے کہ اللہ تعالٰی رات کو دن میں اور دن کو رات میں کھپا دیتا ہے سورج چاند کو اسی نے فرماں بردار کر رکھا ہے کہ ہر ایک مقررہ وقت تک چلتا رہے اللہ تعالٰی ہر اس چیز سے جو تم کرتے ہو خبردار ہے ۔

Kiya aap nahi dektay kay Allah Taalaa raat ko din mein aur din ko raat mein khapa deta hai sooraj chand ko ussi ney farma bardar ker rakha hai kay her aik muqarrara waqt tak chalta rahey Allah Taalaa her uss cheez say jo tum kertay ho khabardaar hai.

35) Surat Faatir

( 22 ) پارہ نمبر

35 ) سورة فاطر

(3707)

یُوۡلِجُ الَّیۡلَ فِی النَّہَارِ وَ یُوۡلِجُ النَّہَارَ فِی الَّیۡلِ ۙ وَ سَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ ۫ ۖکُلٌّ یَّجۡرِیۡ لِاَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ؕ ذٰلِکُمُ اللّٰہُ رَبُّکُمۡ لَہُ الۡمُلۡکُ ؕ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖ مَا یَمۡلِکُوۡنَ مِنۡ قِطۡمِیۡرٍ ﴿ؕ۱۳﴾

He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon - each running [its course] for a specified term. That is Allah , your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed.

وہ رات کو دن میں اور دن کو رات میں داخل کرتا ہے اور آفتاب و ماہتاب کو اسی نے کام میں لگا دیا ہے ۔ ہر ایک میعاد معین پر چل رہا ہے یہی ہے اللہ تم سب کا پالنے والا اسی کی سلطنت ہے ۔ جنہیں تم اس کے سوا پکار رہے ہو وہ تو کھجور کی گھٹلی کے چھلکے کے بھی مالک نہیں ۔

Woh raat ko din mein aur din ko raat mein dakhil kerta hai aur aftab aur mahtab ko ussi ney kaam mein laga diya hai. Her aik miyaad-e-moyyan per chal raha hai. Yehi hai Allah tum sab ka palney wala ussi ki saltanat hai. Jinhen tum iss kay siwa pukar rahey ho woh to khajoor ki guthli kay chilkay kay bhi malik nahi.

36) Surat Yaseen

( 23 ) پارہ نمبر

36 ) سورة يس

(3779)

وَ الۡقَمَرَ قَدَّرۡنٰہُ مَنَازِلَ حَتّٰی عَادَ کَالۡعُرۡجُوۡنِ الۡقَدِیۡمِ ﴿۳۹﴾

And the moon - We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk.

اور چاند کی ہم نےمنزلیں مقرر کر رکھی ہیں ، یہاں تک کہ وہ لوٹ کر پرانی ٹہنی کی طرح ہو جاتا ہے ۔

Aur chand ki hum ney manzilen muqarrar ker rahkhi hain yahan tak kay woh lot ker purani tehni ki tarah hojata hai.

39) Surat-uz-Zumur

( 23 ) پارہ نمبر

39 ) سورة الزمر

(4101)

خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ بِالۡحَقِّ ۚ یُکَوِّرُ الَّیۡلَ عَلَی النَّہَارِ وَ یُکَوِّرُ النَّہَارَ عَلَی الَّیۡلِ وَ سَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ ؕ کُلٌّ یَّجۡرِیۡ لِاَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ؕ اَلَا ہُوَ الۡعَزِیۡزُ الۡغَفَّارُ ﴿۵﴾

He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.

نہایت اچھی تدبیر سے اس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو بنایا وہ رات کو دن پر اور دن کو رات پر لپیٹ دیتا ہے اور اس نے سورج چاند کو کام پر لگا رکھا ہے ۔ ہر ایک مقررہ مدت تک چل رہا ہے یقین مانو کہ وہی زبردست اور گناہوں کا بخشنے والا ہے ۔

Nihayat achi tadbeer say uss ney aasmano aur zamin ko banaya woh raat ko din per aur din ko raat per lapet deta hai aur uss ney sooraj chaand ko kaam per laga rakha hai. Her aik muqarrara muddat tak chal raha hai yaqeen mano kay wohi zabardast aur gunahon ka bakhshney wala hai.

41) Surat Ha-meem-Assajdah

( 24 ) پارہ نمبر

41 ) سورة حم السجدہ

(4295)

وَ مِنۡ اٰیٰتِہِ الَّیۡلُ وَ النَّہَارُ وَ الشَّمۡسُ وَ الۡقَمَرُ ؕ لَا تَسۡجُدُوۡا لِلشَّمۡسِ وَ لَا لِلۡقَمَرِ وَ اسۡجُدُوۡا لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیۡ خَلَقَہُنَّ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ اِیَّاہُ تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ ﴿۳۷﴾

And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostate to Allah , who created them, if it should be Him that you worship.

اور دن رات اور سورج چاند بھی ( اسی کی ) نشانیوں میں سے ہیں تم سورج کو سجدہ نہ کرو نہ چاند کو بلکہ سجدہ اس اللہ کے لئے کرو جس نے سب کو پیدا کیا ہے اگر تمہیں اسی کی عبادت کرنی ہے تو ۔

Aur din raat aur sooraj chand bhi ( ussi ki ) nishaniyon mien say hain tum sooraj ko sajdah na kero na chand ko bulkay sajdah uss Allah kay liye kero jiss ney inn sab ko peda kiya hai agar tumhen ussi ki ibadat kerni hai to.

اِقۡتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَۃُ وَ انۡشَقَّ الۡقَمَرُ ﴿۱﴾

The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].

قیامت قریب آگئی اور چاند پھٹ گیا ۔

Qayamat qareeb agaee aur chand phat gaya.

The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,

آفتاب اور مہتاب ( مقررہ ) حساب سے ہیں ۔

Aftab aur mahtab ( muqarra ) hisab hain.

And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp?

اور ان میں چاند کو خوب جگمگاتا بنایا ہے اور سورج کو روشن چراغ بنایا ہے ۔

Aur in mien chand ko khob jagmata banaya hai aur sooraj ko roshan chiragh banaya hay

No! By the moon

سچ کہتا ہو ں قسم ہے چاند کی ۔
