2) Surat-ul-Baqara

( 1 ) پارہ نمبر

2 ) سورة البقرة

(64)

وَ اِذۡ قُلۡتُمۡ یٰمُوۡسٰی لَنۡ نُّؤۡمِنَ لَکَ حَتّٰی نَرَی اللّٰہَ جَہۡرَۃً فَاَخَذَتۡکُمُ الصّٰعِقَۃُ وَ اَنۡتُمۡ تَنۡظُرُوۡنَ ﴿۵۵﴾

And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we will never believe you until we see Allah outright"; so the thunderbolt took you while you were looking on.

اور ( تم اسے بھی یاد کرو ) تم نے ( حضرت ) موسیٰ ( علیہ السلام ) سے کہا تھا کہ جب تک ہم اپنے رب کو سامنے نہ دیکھ لیں ہرگز ایمان نہ لائیں گے ( جس گستاخی کی سزا میں ) تم پر تمہارے دیکھتے ہوئے بجلی گری ۔

Aur ( tum ussay bhi yaad kero ) tum ney ( hazrat ) musa ( alh-e-salam ) say kaha tha kay jab tak hum apney rab ko apney samney na dekh len hergiz eman na layen gay ( jiss ki gustakhi ki saza mein ) tum per tumharay dekhtay huye bijli giri.

(650)

یَسۡئَلُکَ اَہۡلُ الۡکِتٰبِ اَنۡ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ کِتٰبًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ فَقَدۡ سَاَلُوۡا مُوۡسٰۤی اَکۡبَرَ مِنۡ ذٰلِکَ فَقَالُوۡۤا اَرِنَا اللّٰہَ جَہۡرَۃً فَاَخَذَتۡہُمُ الصّٰعِقَۃُ بِظُلۡمِہِمۡ ۚ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذُوا الۡعِجۡلَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَتۡہُمُ الۡبَیِّنٰتُ فَعَفَوۡنَا عَنۡ ذٰلِکَ ۚ وَ اٰتَیۡنَا مُوۡسٰی سُلۡطٰنًا مُّبِیۡنًا ﴿۱۵۳﴾

The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. But they had asked of Moses [even] greater than that and said, "Show us Allah outright," so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf [for worship] after clear evidences had come to them, and We pardoned that. And We gave Moses a clear authority.

آپ سے یہ اہل کتاب درخواست کرتے ہیں کہ آپ ان کے پاس کوئی آسمانی کتاب لائیں ، حضرت موسیٰ ( علیہ السلام ) سے توانہوں نے اس سے بہت بڑی درخواست کی تھی کہ ہمیں کھلم کھلا اللہ تعالٰی کو دکھا دے پس ان کے اس ظلم کے باعث ان پر کڑاکے کی بجلی آپڑی پھر باوجودیکہ ان کے پاس بہت دلیلیں پہنچ چکی تھیں انہوں نے بچھڑے کو اپنا معبود بنا لیا ، لیکن ہم نے یہ بھی معاف فرما دیا اور ہم نے موسیٰ کو کھلا غلبہ ( اور صریح دلیل ) عنایت فرمائی ۔

Aap say yeh ehal-e-kitab darkhuast kertay hain kay aap inn kay pass koi aasmani kitab layen hazrat musa ( alh-e-salam ) say to enhon ney iss say boht bari darkhuast ki thi kay humen khullam khula Allah Taalaa ko dikha dey pus inn kay iss zulm kay baees inn per karakay ki bijli aa pari phir bawajood yeh kay inn kay pass boht daleel phonch chuki thi enhon ney bachray ko apna mabood bana liya lekin hum ney yeh bhi moaf farma diya aur hum ney musa ko khula ghalba ( aur sareeh daleel ) inayat farmaee.
