Translation

24) Surat-un-Noor

24) سورة النور

سورة النور

آیت نمبر (4)

وَ الَّذِیۡنَ یَرۡمُوۡنَ الۡمُحۡصَنٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ یَاۡتُوۡا بِاَرۡبَعَۃِ شُہَدَآءَ فَاجۡلِدُوۡہُمۡ ثَمٰنِیۡنَ جَلۡدَۃً وَّ لَا تَقۡبَلُوۡا لَہُمۡ شَہَادَۃً اَبَدًا ۚ وَ اُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ ۙ﴿۴﴾
And those who accuse chaste women and then do not produce four witnesses - lash them with eighty lashes and do not accept from them testimony ever after. And those are the defiantly disobedient, -
جو لوگ پاکدامن عورتوں پر زنا کی تہمت لگائیں پھر چار گواہ نہ پیش کر سکیں تو انہیں اسی کوڑے لگاؤ اور کبھی بھی ان کی گواہی قبول نہ کرو ۔ یہ فاسق لوگ ہیں ۔ -
Jo log pak daman aurton per zina ki tohmat lagayen phir char gawah na paish ker saken to unhen assi koray lagao aur kabhi bhi unn ki gawahee qabool na kero. Yeh fasiq log hain. -

آیت نمبر (5)

اِلَّا الَّذِیۡنَ تَابُوۡا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ذٰلِکَ وَ اَصۡلَحُوۡا ۚ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِیۡمٌ ﴿۵﴾
Except for those who repent thereafter and reform, for indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. -
ہاں جو لوگ اس کے بعد توبہ اور اصلاح کرلیں تو اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا اور مہربانی کرنے والا ہے ۔ -
Haan jo log iss kay baad toba aur islah ker len to Allah Taalaa bakshney wala aur meharbani kerney wala hai. -

آیت نمبر (6)

وَ الَّذِیۡنَ یَرۡمُوۡنَ اَزۡوَاجَہُمۡ وَ لَمۡ یَکُنۡ لَّہُمۡ شُہَدَآءُ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡفُسُہُمۡ فَشَہَادَۃُ اَحَدِہِمۡ اَرۡبَعُ شَہٰدٰتٍۭ بِاللّٰہِ ۙ اِنَّہٗ لَمِنَ الصّٰدِقِیۡنَ ﴿۶﴾
And those who accuse their wives [of adultery] and have no witnesses except themselves - then the witness of one of them [shall be] four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the truthful. -
جو لوگ اپنی بیویوں پر بدکاری کی تہمت لگائیں اور ان کا کوئی گواہ بجز خود ان کی ذات کےنہ ہو تو ایسے لوگوں میں سے ہر ایک کا ثبوت یہ ہے کہ چار مرتبہ اللہ کی قسم کھا کر کہیں کہ وہ سچوں میں سے ہیں ۔ -
Jo log apni biwiyon per bad-kaari ki tohmat lagayen aur unn ka koi gawah ba-juz khud unn ki zaat kay na ho to aisay logon mein say her aik ka saboot yeh hai kay char martaba Allah ki qasam kha ker kahen kay woh sachon mein say hain. -

آیت نمبر (7)

وَ الۡخَامِسَۃُ اَنَّ لَعۡنَتَ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡہِ اِنۡ کَانَ مِنَ الۡکٰذِبِیۡنَ ﴿۷﴾
And the fifth [oath will be] that the curse of Allah be upon him if he should be among the liars. -
اور پانچویں مرتبہ کہے کہ اس پر اللہ تعالٰی کی لعنت ہو اگر وہ جھوٹوں میں سے ہو ۔ -
Aur paanchwen martaba kahey kay uss per Allah ki lanat ho agar woh jhooton mein say ho. -

آیت نمبر (8)

وَ یَدۡرَؤُا عَنۡہَا الۡعَذَابَ اَنۡ تَشۡہَدَ اَرۡبَعَ شَہٰدٰتٍۭ بِاللّٰہِ ۙ اِنَّہٗ لَمِنَ الۡکٰذِبِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۸﴾
But it will prevent punishment from her if she gives four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the liars. -
اور اس عورت سے سزا اس طرح دور ہوسکتی ہے کہ وہ چار مرتبہ اللہ کی قسم کھا کر کہے کہ یقیناً اس کا مرد جھوٹ بولنے والوں میں سے ہے ۔ -
Aur uss aurat say saza iss tarah door hosakti hai kay woh char martaba Allah ki qasam kha ker kahey kay yaqeenan iss ka mard jhoot bolney walon mein say hai. -

آیت نمبر (9)

وَ الۡخَامِسَۃَ اَنَّ غَضَبَ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡہَاۤ اِنۡ کَانَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِیۡنَ ﴿۹﴾
And the fifth [oath will be] that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he was of the truthful. -
اور پانچویں دفعہ کہے کہ اس پر اللہ تعالٰی کا غضب ہو اگر اس کا خاوند سچوں میں سے ہو ۔ -
Aur paanchwen dafa kahey kay uss per Allah Taalaa ka azab ho agar uss ka khawind sachon mein say ho. -
