آیت نمبر (187)

وَ اِذۡ اَخَذَ اللّٰہُ مِیۡثَاقَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ لَتُبَیِّنُنَّہٗ لِلنَّاسِ وَ لَا تَکۡتُمُوۡنَہٗ ۫ فَنَبَذُوۡہُ وَرَآءَ ظُہُوۡرِہِمۡ وَ اشۡتَرَوۡا بِہٖ ثَمَنًا قَلِیۡلًا ؕ فَبِئۡسَ مَا یَشۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸۷﴾

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased. -

اور اللہ تعالٰی نے جب اہل کتاب سے عہد لیا کہ تم اسے سب لوگوں سے ضُرور بیان کرو گے اور اسے چھُپاؤ گے نہیں ، تو پھر بھی ان لوگوں نے اس عہد کو اپنی پیٹھ پیچھے ڈال دیا اور اسے بہت کم قیمت پر بیچ ڈالا ۔ ان کا یہ بیوپار بہت بُرا ہے ۔ -

Aur Allah Taalaa ney jab ehal-e-kitab say ehad liya kay tum issay sab logon say zaroor biyan kero gay aur issay chupao gay nahi to phir bhi inn logon ney iss ehad ko apni peeth peechay daal diya aur issay boht kum qeemat per baich daala. Inn kay yeh beopaar boht bura hai. -
