آیت نمبر (167)

وَ لِیَعۡلَمَ الَّذِیۡنَ نَافَقُوۡا ۚ ۖ وَ قِیۡلَ لَہُمۡ تَعَالَوۡا قَاتِلُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ اَوِ ادۡفَعُوۡا ؕ قَالُوۡا لَوۡ نَعۡلَمُ قِتَالًا لَّا تَّبَعۡنٰکُمۡ ؕ ہُمۡ لِلۡکُفۡرِ یَوۡمَئِذٍ اَقۡرَبُ مِنۡہُمۡ لِلۡاِیۡمَانِ ۚ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ بِاَفۡوَاہِہِمۡ مَّا لَیۡسَ فِیۡ قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یَکۡتُمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۶۷﴾ۚ

And that He might make evident those who are hypocrites. For it was said to them, "Come, fight in the way of Allah or [at least] defend." They said, "If we had known [there would be] fighting, we would have followed you." They were nearer to disbelief that day than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah is most Knowing of what they conceal - -

اور منافقوں کو بھی معلوم کرلے جن سے کہا گیا کہ آؤ اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرو ، یا کافروں کو ہٹاؤ ، تو وہ کہنے لگے کہ اگر ہم لڑائی جانتے ہوتے تو ضرور ساتھ دیتے ، وہ اس دن بہ نسبت ایمان کے کُفر سے بہت قریب تھے ، اپنے منہ سے وہ باتیں بناتے ہیں جو ان کے دِلوں میں نہیں ، اور اللہ تعالٰی خوب جانتا ہے جسے وہ چھپاتے ہیں ۔ -

Aur munafiqon bhi maloom kerley jin say kaha gaya kay aao Allah ki raah mein jihad kero ya kafiron ko hatao to woh kehney lagay kay agar hum laraee jantay hotay to zaroor sath detay woh uss din ba nisbat eman kay kufur say boht qarib thay apney mun say woh baaten banatay hain jo inn kay dilon mein nahi aur Allah Taalaa khoob janta hai jisay woh chupatay hain. -

اَلَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡا لِاِخۡوَانِہِمۡ وَ قَعَدُوۡا لَوۡ اَطَاعُوۡنَا مَا قُتِلُوۡا ؕ قُلۡ فَادۡرَءُوۡا عَنۡ اَنۡفُسِکُمُ الۡمَوۡتَ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶۸﴾

Those who said about their brothers while sitting [at home], "If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed." Say, "Then prevent death from yourselves, if you should be truthful." -

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو خود بھی بیٹھے رہے اور اپنے بھائیوں کی بابت کہا کہ اگر وہ بھی ہماری بات مان لیتے تو قتل نہ کئے جاتے ۔ کہہ دیجئے! کہ اگر تم سچے ہو تو اپنی جانوں سے موت کو ہٹا دو ۔ -

Yeh woh log hai jo khud bhi behtay rahey aur apney bhaiyon ki babat kaha kay agar woh bhi humari baat maan letay to qatal na kiye jatay. Keh dijiye! kay agar tum sachay ho to apni janon say maut ko hata do. -
